Dr. Ronald Abaro
"I tell my team every day that we are so blessed to be in a profession that gives back so much. As unique and challenging as the healthcare industry is, I receive so much gratification in helping others alleviate pain and live a healthier lifestyle.
It's not surprising how many people are afraid of dentistry, and it's always due to a bad experience. Unfortunately, it's the patient who continues with pain and deteriorating overall health. Our goal is to help patients by listening to their individual needs and educating them to take control of their condition. So little by little, they can live a higher quality of life...and maintain it!
And if i'm lucky, they'll teach someone else how to achieve that same health and happiness. A little patience, empathy, and encouragement go a very long way in an otherwise scary situation.

Hi! My name is Patricia Stephens and I have the best position at Burbank Family Dental! I transform smiles with orthodontics. I wanted to be a Dentist since I was in high school in Ann Arbor, Michigan and eventually I graduated from University of Michigan with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1985.
After graduation, I moved west and landed in beautiful California in 1989. I’ve received all my advanced orthodontic training in the Golden State along with continuing education in myofunctionaltherapy.
Outside of the office, I sing alto in my church’s choir, design and make jewelry and tutor calculus. I am blessed to have two children- one who is married and lives in San Diego and the other who attends Azusa Pacific University.
I look forward to helping my patients achieve a beautiful and healthy smile that they can share with the world!
